Children can be so amazing sometimes. Particularly ours. Quinn and Tess behaved soooo well throughout what turned into a pretty long travel day. Picked up at 8:15 or so by our driver, a good guy who was late because he looked up our address somewhere, probably the phone book, and got 135 Southworth Street. Where he was waiting for us at 8:00. Drove to NYC for 3.5 hours, arrived in plenty of time for out 1:45 flight - which turned into a 5:00 flight, by the time all was said and done. So we had a lot of airport time. Quinn spent a lot of it watching rugby highlights on the wireless connection we sprang for while Tess napped. And then the flight itself - Absolultely no trouble with the kiddles. Some with the adults, though. Papi forgot the book he was reading on the plane. Quite reasonable taxi to our apartment, where Fernando, friend of Aurora, the woman whose apartment we're renting, met us and showed us the ropes. No trouble at all, really - very easy, in fact.
Too easy...

Proof that the recounting of an "ordinary" day -left to the gifted- can turn into a huge open window, looking through which one gets both sights and insight! I am thrilled and appreciative. Please keep it up! And again, lovely pictures!
Granny also said -too late :( !- Do watch that sun...
